- As Ontario announced it would move forward with a regional approach to re-open the economy as the COVID-19 pandemic lingered, Mayor Letham hoped Kawartha Lakes would be included on that early re-open list.
Kawartha Lakes did make the reopening list and was amongst the first health unit districts to reopen later in June for Stage 2. - Publisher
