Description
Canada's 'long-haulers' (those who contracted COVID-19 and continue to suffer with persistant symptoms or flare ups after testing negative) were thought to hold some of the answers as to why only some individuals were barely sick with COVID-19 while others never got better.

However, these long-haulers felt left out of the discussions about COVID-19 and falling through the cracks of the health care system, calling for support for their new chronic conditions.

A massive multi-province study was launched to recruit 2,000 COVID survivors and follow them over a span of time to try and figure out what happened to them and why.
