Municipal service centre in Lindsay re-opens months after being closed due to Coronavirus | Kawartha 411 KAWARTHA LAKES-The Customer Service desk located on the first floor of the Lindsay Service Centre at 180 Kent Street West has re-opened to the public with regular hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Officials say due to safety protocols and limited resources during COVID-19, only the following services are being provided at this time: Tax and Utility Services Bus Passes/Transit Tokens Bulk Water Cards Dog Tags Waste and Recycling Items (bins and tags) The service centre was closed in March as the pandemic hit the area. Officials say Development Services and all other offices at 180 Kent Street West remain closed to the public. Development Services are available online through the City website or by calling 705-324-9411. Washrooms are currently closed to the public. Similar to other public indoor spaces, masks or face coverings must be worn and physical distancing must be followed at all times. This is the third service centre that has re-opened across the municipality. The Coboconk Service Centre and Omemee Service Centre are also open to the public with similar services available and the same safety measures in place.
