- Description
- Wanting to give their students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 a more global look at how Christmas is celebrated, teachers at the school set up stations to inform them about celebration practices in five countries: Estonia, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, and Norway.
One of these stations involved placing candles at the Woodville Cenotaph, copying a Netherlands practice where candles were placed on graves in the Canadian War Cemetery in Holten, Netherlands. - Publisher
