- Confusion was noted about the mixed message sent by implementing the provincial lockdown on December 26, 2020 instead of December 24, 2020 while still strongly encouraging citizens to celebrate Christmas with only their households.
Some public health officials agreed that is was a confusing scenario where people are urged caution while signalling otherwise to spend Christmas 2020 close to loved ones.
