The doctors, nurses, ICU staff, PSWs cafeteria and cleaning staff, switchboard, reception, paramedics and volunteer drivers have virtually saved our lives. I can't put a price tag on that; nobody can. At this juncture I would like to pay tribute to another industry; one that has not only saved our lives but saved our financial lives. I'm talking about the people that have kept commerce alive. The strain put on all the financial people out there that have been forced to work from home, competing with dogs and cats and kids and peanut butter sandwiches, all the while keeping that big economic wheel turning. The banks, the realtors, the mortgage brokers, the lawyers, appraisers, loan companies, car and truck financiers, private investors, insurance companies, not to mention all the staff of the above related companies that have worked their tales of so we can move on with housing, banking, mortgages, insurance, car and truck sales, are to be congratulated. I know I have left out many other major players like policing, manufacturing, fire services and the food industry and all the service people out there that have kept us going, but that will be for another time.
