- Earlier in January 2021, the local public school board distributed a memo from the Ministry of Education telling parents that all teachers in Ontario had received mandatory training in how to best deliver virtual programming.
In a board communication to the Lindsay Advocate on January 15, 2021, it was stated that this training took place for staff on September 5, 6 and November 20th PD days and was not mandatory. - Publisher
