- The provincial government made COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for long-term care staff (in-home staff, support workers, students and volunteers) effective November 15, 2021 unless a staff member had a valid medical exemption.
The provincial government also expanded inspections of long-term care homes and redirected provincial resources to enhance and audit existing testing in homes. - Publisher
