Full Text

MARRIED. - At Westminster, B.C., Wednesday, August 10, 1898. John J. Ashton, B.A., B.D., to Eliza Treleaven, by Rev. J.F. Betts, assisted by Revs. J. B. Bowell and C. M. Tate. The bride was charmingly attired in cream silk and carried a beautiful boquet of bridal roses. She was assisted by Miss Aylesworth, of Vancouver, while the groom was supported by the bride's nephew, Mr. W. Langsford, principal of Yale school. The aforesaid young lady was one of Eden's most popular and fascinating young ladies and that is saying a great deal. As organist and choir leader she will be greatly missed and as worker in the C.E. and W.F.M.S. her place will be hard to fill. We extend hearty congratulations for along life and a happy one to Mr. and Mrs. Ashton in their new home.
