MORE THAN DOUBLE.--The remarkable prolific pea, grown on Mr. Wm. Bulmer's farm in Somerville and noticed in last week's Gazette, was nothing to one raised in Mr. Thomas Junkin's field on lot No. 18 in the 2nd concession of Verulam. Mr. Bulmer's stalk bore only forty-two pods, while Mr. Junkin's had no less than eighty-six. Mr. Bulmer did not count the pease in his; but Mr. Junkin did, in the presence of a witness, and found the astonishing number of six hundred and seventy. Next!
