- Ex. Private Voelker was born 8 May 1896 in Berlin (later Kitchener), Ontario. He served with the 1st Battalion Canadian Infantry. Voelker was wounded at Passchendaele, Belgium on 6 November 1917 and later died of his wounds on 3 December 1920.
