Agricultural Fall Shows. The Cartwright AgrioultaralSociety will hold their Fall Show on the Show Grounds, Williamsburg, on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 9th and 10th. The Cartwright Friends never fail in having a good Show ard the Prizo List which appears on the first page of this issue displays a commendible generosity and a disposition to encourage com- petition and thus meke the show attractive. The Officers and Directors are doing their part well so that the full success of the show now rests with the people. The exhibits are always num. erous and good but on this occasion there will doubtless be a greater effort put forth to increase the extent of the Show. The Floral Hall greatly depends on the efforts of the ladies and doubtless they will sustain their well merited reputation. The public must not over look the fact that the larger che attendance the greater the success of the Show ; Port Perry, and Reach, will on this as at all former Shows, be numerously represented. The Township of Brock Agricultural Society will hold their Fall Show at Sunderland on Monday and Tuesday, Oct 13 and 14 the Prize List of which appeared in our issue of last week. The activity and energy of the officers and Directors of this Society are made manifest in the splendid progress this Society has made and the extensive, attractive, and profitable Shows they have from year to year. The doming Show will doubtless be almbst equal to tractive ; the attandance ia always Jarge and spirited and tho comfort of oll is attended to. Port Perry and Reach will help to swell the crowd. * The N.O.E. D.
