RS EXPERIENCE. with a Disease Unknown to He had Almost Given when the Hand of relief A ed out to Him Rev. 8 J. Comings, the pastor of the First Baptist church of Dijevan, New York, has had an experience that makes him one of the most taked of men in Cattaraugus county. To a re- porter of the Buffulo News who called tpon him, Mr. Cummings made the following statement, which be put iu the form of an affidavit © . * am now feeling so well that T am Bhitering on a series of special meetings and am returning to work with all my old time vigor. 1 was prostrated in June Inst and was treated by three physicians, one near this place and two in the city of Buffalo, but received no benefit or encouragement from them. They were all of the opinien that I would have to resign my pastorate and quit preaching, Nevertheless I now feel entirely recovered. +I cannot give you the name of my disorder. It baffled the physicians, and they could not agree as to the nature rouble, After the slightest ex- a8 ir ning or 3 =. would swell and become discolor- ed and my body would be wracked with pain. These attacks would last three or fonr hours, but they would usnally leave me helpless for at least a day after the acute pain had passed. At night T was nnable tosleep. The strain upon my nervous systen was tremendous. 1 Lecame so prostrated as to be unable to take- exercise, I could do scarcely any work in my | study, and frequently could not preach to my prople. Some times for a week the mascles of my arms would be so affected that I could not write a letter or pen a discourse, On the recommendation of the phy- sicians who examined we, my church granted me a vacation for a month, and I went to my old home in Ounk- wood, Ont., north of Toronto, for a rest. On reaching home my father urged me to try Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. I protested on the plea of hav- ing taken s0 many medicines that I had lost all faith in them. But he had heard of their efficacy and insist- ed on giving them a trial. He bought me two boxes and I began to take them. I soon foand my health im- proving so rapidly that I returncd to my home and family in this place.-- Some of my friends iosisted that the benefit was only temporary, and 1 would soon have a relapse and be worse than before, but I have continu- éd to take them and now fee! like n new man. The sudden attacks of pain which formerly prostrated me on my bed do not recur, and I have exposed myself many times in a way that would formerly have brought them on. 'In my family I have found them very beneficial. My wife finds them more helpful to them than anything she has ever taken. I have spent hundreds of doilars in doctors' remed jes and patent medicines, but all to no avil until I tried Pink Pills, 8. J. Cummixas. This medicine has completely solved the problem of the cure of indi- gestion, dyspepsia, and diseases of the general nervous system. It is also of the greatest value in the cure of all forms of failing health from whatever cause. It performs this by the great nervine tonic qualities which it possesses, and by 1ts great curative powers upon the digestive organg, the stomach, the liver and the bowels. No remedy compares Lt ousness of females of all ages. It will add ten or fifteen years to the lives of many of those who will use a half dozen bottles of the remedy each year, AT IS A GREAT REMEDY FOR THE CURE OF Nervousness, roken Constitution, Nervous Prostration, Debility of Old Age, Nervous Headache, Indigestion and Dyspepsia, Sick Headache, Heartburn and Sour Stomach, Female Weakness, 'Weight and Tenderness in Stomach, Nervous Chills, Loss of Appetite, Paralysis, Frightful Dreams, Nervous Paroxysms and Dizziness and Ringing in the Ears, Nervous Choking, 'Weakness of Extremities and Hot Flashes, Fainting, Palpitation of the Heart, Impure and Impoverished Blood, Mental Despondency, Boils and Carbuncles, Sleeplessness, Scrofula, St. Vitus' Dance, Bcrofulous Swellings and Ulcers, Nervousness of Females, Consumption of the Lungs, Nervousness of Old Age, Catarrh of the Lungs, Neuralgia, Bronchitis and Chronic Cough, Pains in the Hears, Liver Complaint, Pains in the Back, Chronic Diarrhoea, Failing Health, Delicate and Scrofulous Children, Summer Complaint of Infants. All these and many other complaints cured by this wonderful Nervine Tonic. NERVOUS DISEASES. As a cure for every class of Nervous Diseases, no remedy has been able to compare with the Nervine Tonic, which is very pleasant and harmless in all its effects upon the youngest child or the oldest and most delicate individual. Nine tenths of all the ailments to which the human family is heir are dependent on nervous exhaustion and impaired di tion. When there is an insufficient supply of nerve food in the bl a general state of debility of the brain, spinal marrow, and nerves is the result. Starved nerves, like starved muscles, become strong when the right kind of food is supplied; and a thousand weaknesses and ailments disappear as the nerves recover. As the nervous system must supply all the power by which the vital forces of the body are carried on, it is the first to suffer for want of perfect nutrition. Ordinary food does not con- tain a sufficient quantity of the kind of nutriment necessary to repair the wear our present mode of living and labor imposes upon the nerves. For this reason it becomes neccessary that a nerve food be supplied. This South American Nervine has been found by analysis to contain the essential elements out of which nerve tissue is formed. This accounts for its universal adaptability to the cure of all forms of nervous de- rangement. CRAWFORDEVILLE, Txp., Aug. 20, "88. To the Great South Amarécun Medicine Co?
