Loyal Diane Lodge Parade There was an element of sadness for Port Perry Lodge in 'the cele- stock. Robt. Hyland,' who for half a century-had been a loyal Orangeman, was dead; and his body was escorted to its last resting place at 'Blackstock by the proces- slon that went from here to celebrate the Battle of the Boyne. Six bear- ers were chosen from the ranks of the local lodge. Just as the cortege reached the outskirts of Black- stock, the other lodges that had assembled to celebrate came out and joined the procession that slowly marched to the cemetery. Here the English Church Burial Service was read by Rev. Ri M. Allen, of Port Perry. Then the funeral rites were concluded by the Orange Order. Worshipful Master R. B. Smallman, of Port Perry, read the funeral service, Rev. J. H.. Kidd, of Blackstock, taking the chaplain's part. © So one more member is numbered with the dead --Robt.
