M. Harrington, the Deputy Registrar and Deputy Clerk of Court. Mr. Harrington was born at Greenbank, Ont., in 1872, and came to Moose Jaw' some some fourteen ago. From here he moved to innipeg and also at a later date spent a few years across the border. In 1909 he returned to Moose Jaw, and it was in that year that he re- ceived his appointment to his present position. Inthe year 1910 he was married to Margaret A. Potts Fenelon Falls, Ont. G. W. Spence, now of the Land Tie les Office of this city, was at that time Clerk of the Court, and it'was at this time that the Clerk, one assistant and one stenographer did the work. © When interviewed Mr. Harrington stated that there had been a most remarkable change in the amount of work during the three ycars of hisservice 'I have spent many the hours overtime,' said Harrington, in order to with the work which is steadily on the increase, where three of us' man- aged all the work in 190g, six of us are kept busy to-day. Mr. Harrington is well known in all court circles, he having acted as Clerk at practically all sittings of the Supreme Court since his appointment to office in 190g. He is not alone popular at the dis- charged of his duties, but he is very well known throughout the city. : 'As well as being prominent in court circles Mr. Harnngton is also well known in many other capacities, es- pecially at a dog and poultry show held in this city he was very successful with bis exhibits, so much so as to carry off the special silver cup award- ed by W.
