Bishop of Toronto Preaches The- visit of 'His Lordship the Bishop of Toronto to the Church "of the Ascension Port Perry; took place on Friday 28th February. The oc- caion was used to commemorate the 45th Anniversary of the opening of the Church. After Shortened Evening: Prayer, the Bishop preached from the opening verses of the 95th: Psalm «0 Come let us Sing" unto the Lord, let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our Salvation." He pointed out that the occasion was one of thanks: giving, for the establishment and man- stenance of the work of the. church of England in this town during "a period extending over 45 years. He then briefly referred to the clergy who had during those years ministered to the congregation. But especially hé dwelt on "the ap- pointment af the present incumbent (Rev. C. P. Muirhead)" who took charge of the work of the -church in Nov. 1912.
