Mr, and Mrs Frank Hortop were visiting in Port Perry ry recently, Obituary Cadmus, Mar March roth, 1913 Mrs. Eugene Farran (nee Anna Thorburn) passed peacefully away at her home near Buchanan, February 22nd, 1913, after an illness of two weeks. The deceased was born in Sonya, Ont., and came with her parents to Michiganin 1894. When thirteen years of age she united with the Pres- byterian Church of this place where she had been a faithful worker. inthe Sabbath School. She attended the Benton Harbor College' from which she graduated in 1908, having been a successful * teacher in the district schools for eight years. "On Dec: 27th, 1911, she was united in mar- riage to Eugene Farran of Buchanan. Funeral services were conducted "hy the Rev. E./M. Renner of Niles. Mrs. Farran was an exemplary Christian and was noted for. her kind and genial disposition. * She leaves to mourn her untimely death besides a husband, a mother and father, five sisters and three brothers.
