The wind did some damage here on Friday last, but nothing serious. Some bricks were blown from the chimney on Dr. Berry's house; some fences were blown down, and John Irvin's sign was blown from the pump works. This was very obliging of the wind, as the sign had to come down anyhow now that Mr. Dean has bought the business. Mrs. T. W. Milne and son, Donald, of Fergus, Miss Morphy and Miss Berry, of Hamilton, spent the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. F. W. McIntyre. Mr. Anson. Walker is home from Toronto for Easter holidays. Mr. Wm, Campbell, of Toronto, was in town last week. Mrs. Wm. Cook and her daughters, Vera and Ethel, spent Easter Sunday in Toronto.
