Her weil was caught with orange blossoms and she carried a boquet of cream #oses and maiden hair fern, and wore "be groom's gift, a pearl necklace. The bride was attended by the' groom's sister, Miss Mary, as flower girl, and Master Oscar Baird was ring "dearer. Miss Lottie Wallace, of Toronto, sang "Ihe Voice that Breathed O'er dans congratalations, a wedding supper was served. Later Mr. and Mrs. Real left on their honeymoon, Mes. Real travelling in a suit of taupe serge with hat to match. Oo their return they will reside at Blackwater. Women's Institute Sonya The annual meeting of the Women's Institute was held at the home of Mr. Frank King, Mariposa, | and was a thorough success. The Rouse, which is by no means small, was crowded, The men had been in- ited 10 attend this meeting and they wesponded in large numbers, Rev. Mr. Dods, the minister who has re- cently taken charge of the Sonya ap- pointment, was chairman for the eve- ning, and was an ideal man for this position. He is a very big man phy- sically, has a big fund of humor and quickly had his audience in excellent spirits, The program included some $ine solos by Mrs. Dods, a recitation by Miss Wilson, a gramaphone select- don by Miss Moase, and an address on "Buying" by Mr. Farmer, of Port Perry, Refreshments were served after a musical contest in which Miss McTaggart and Mr. Geddes were winners The whole evening was thoroughly enjoyed and hearty votes of thanks were tendered to Mr. and Mrs. King, and the speaker of the evening. A vote of thanks was also made by the gentlemen to the Women's Institute for their courte- ous invitation to attend their annual session. This society is doing good service in promoting the general welfare of the community and deserves the hearty support which 1t evidently receives. Manchester Mrs. Mary Fitchett has again gone 20 Toronto for treatment. Mr. Howard Lambe is home from Tindsay for a few holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer and family have returned from their visit to Prince Edward. On Saturdsy next a meeting will be held in the church with the view of organizing a Young People's Mission Band. Mr. R. M. Holtby and Mr. Wilmot "Walker have taken some of their thoroughbred stock to Ottawa Fair. Mr. Chas Lambe has gone with Mr. Holtby to help him look after his stock. 3 Master Stewart Bradburn has gone "go live in Whitchurch. Stewart will be missed by his playmates as he was a good natured and agreeable boy.
