This deservedly popular concert was well attended as it always is, In the space at our disposal this week it not possible to give a detailed report; but must content ourselves with say- ing that the audience thoroughly ap- preciated the whole program. = Men- tion should be made of the scholarship prizes donated by Messrs, T. H. Fol- lick, H. G. Hutcheson, J. McE., Mur- ray, and Dr. Mellow; also the prize presented by the Chairman of the Board of Education, Mr. W. S. Short. These prizes have done much toward stimulating good 'work among the students, and cannot but help to raise the standing of the school. A Unique Meeting For the first time, so far as we know, all the Young People's Societies in town, "held a joint meeting in the basement of the Presbyterian church, upon the invitation of the Presbyter- ian Guild.
