After the death of the father, the family came to Reach Township and in 1856 she was married to William Thomas who died at Poit Perry twenty-four years ago. In 1900 Mrs Thomas went West and was married to M. B, Ellerington of Carberry, Man, After the latter's death, the widow returned to Port Perry where she spent her remaining years. Mrs Ellerington was well and favor- ably known to most of the old resi- dents of Port Perry, and to these her death brings a sense of deep regret. The possessed of many sterling qualities and for over forty years was a consistent member of the Methodist Church. She leaves to mourn her 'loss. a daughter, two brothers and two sisters, deceased was tertainment in Port Perry -- moving pictures, instrumentalists, comedians, etc. PROGRAM The Man with the Tron Mask--A drama in two parts. Black Bear Ogdensburg Journal Jack Cook the well known saloon keeper of Ogdensburg N.Y, brought home yesterday a fine specimen of the black bear species weighing 365 1bs, as a trophy of his skill as a nimrod. He bearded the ferocious beast in his den and brought him down at short range with one shot. The animal was found in the neighborhood of New- bridge near De Grasse. For some time past people who fived in that neighborhood have been losing their cattle and carcasses of deer have been discovered all due to the depredation of Mr Bruin. * Just before the hunting season closed "Jack" spent deer and had excellent'snccess. On Wednesday he went to New- bridge again in search of game not prohibited by law to be served at his restaurant on Thanksgiving day. On arnving there he was told that a big black bear had been seen and that it was causing much havoc among the farmers.
