Worrell PORT PERCY "BRAN H Prince Albert The funeral of the late Mrs Eugene Gibney (nee) Irene Mand Belknap, took place from the residence of her ; parents, Mr and Mrs Ira W Belknap, King Street, Prince Albert, on Friday, and was largely attended dy friends and relatives of the deceased. The services at the house were very im- pressive, Rev Mr-Bunner speaking in feeling térms of the sad death. Also services were rendered by the officers of the I. O. F. of Oshawa, of which she was'a member. The pall-bearers were the following: Mr Louis Bond, Fred McKay, Mr Frank Jeffery and Cecil Jeffery. A large number of floral tributes were received from kind and sympath- izihg friends, The lodge sent a wreath; -- The Williams Piano Com- pany a wreath; Mr and Mrs Bu- cannon a wreath; A spray from the Proprietor of the Beaton's Store and : Most of the boys overseas to whom the Utica Women's Institute sent box- es, have written of the safe arrival of the same in good condition and stat ing how delighted they were with the contents. After a few months illness the death took place on Thursday of last week of Mr Thomas Stewart at his residence on the town line of Uxbridge. He was a member of the Presbyterian church here. He leaves a wife and sons and daughters to mourn his loss. The deceased lived here many years. The funeral service was held at his late residence conducted by Rev. Mr Johnston of Ashburn. Interment was made at the Uxbridze cemetery. Owing to the bad weather and poor roads the Epworth League service has been poorly attended If the weather is favorable let there be a good turn out and rally up the League Thursday night.
