Business Sold Mr. A. C. Taylor of the Corner Store, Port Perry, has bought Mr. F. C. Collacuti's grocery business. We understand that Mr Collacutt and Herb intend going to the city shortly. © Mrs Collacutt and tle younger boys will stay in town for the present. We regret to lose Mr Col- lacutt and Herb, but wish them well in their new venture. W.C.T.U. Covention A number of ladies from Port Perry motored to Cannington on Thursday of last week, to attend the W. C. T. U, Convention. Mrs. Pugsley, of Tor- onto. Reports showed that the Union is in a healthy condition, and is busily engaged in many kinds of patriotic work. ' A' warning was given by Mrs. Pugsley, who saw the need of contin- ued effort, getting into a state of pre- paredness for the struggle that is sure to come after the war, when the liquor question will again come before the people.
