At the end of the afternoon and evening contests, our locals were 21 up. The weather was very pleasant and a delightful time was enjoyed by all the bowlers, Skips E H Purdy and D Carnegie motored to Beaverton on Friday last and played twe rinks of that town. The result was favorable to Port Perry who were 13 up. Our bowlers have purchascd a building which has been torn down, preparatory to erecting a club house on the north side of the bowling lawn.
