As the time of your going draws neas we want to express something of our apprecia- tion of what you have been to us both in the Institute and as a personal friend to each one. Itshas been largely through your untiring effort and enthusiasm that our Institute has made a progress ofjwhich we may be reasonably proud. It has many times been your courage which held us up to attempting something which seemed almost impossible to some of us, and your fortitude never wearied until the jobject was accom- plished. Neither was any extra work too much trouble for you to undertahe personally. We want to thank you for the hun- dred occasions on which your thought- fulness has taken care of details which would otherwise have been overlooked We also fnel that your unfailing tact, and your bright kind personality has helped us over many difficulty in a time when our community was suffer- ing serious and anxiety and grief, over those who have gone to the Frhnt, while your consideration and sym- pathy have buen a blessing to man) a home.
