A hot supper was served, a collection taken which netted about five dollars, there being about eighteen ladies in at- tendance. This is four excellent quilts these ladies have pieced and quilted as well as making other small articles. The Red Cross are now asking the ladies to help the needy families of returned soldiers who have not been able to make a success of farming. On Friday evening Mrs. G. K Robertson. entertained a number -of ladies in honour of Mrs. Ireland. A most enjoyable time was spent. though Misses Gwen. Ettey and Eila Robertson gave an exhibition of folk The Bazaar which was held on Friday evening under the auspices of St. John's Church was a success. The proceeds amounted to $170. The prize for the cake-walk was won by Mr and Mrs Fred Bailey; for the lucky waltz by Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Marlow, and for the obstacle race by Miss Amma Bruce.
