The annual meeting of the W.A. of St. John's Church was held at the home of Mrs. John Smith on Friday evening the 19th, wth a large attend- ance. The Cartwright relatives and friends of Dr. Robert Archer, of Port Perry, were very sorry to hear of his sudden attack of illness on Thursday of last week, and are "more than oh pleased to hear that he is now on the way for recovery. x We are glad to report that Mrs. L. Werry, who has been ill with pneu- monia, is at present doing well. Rev. and Mrs. T. W. Scott enter- tained the A.Y.P.A. at dinner on Tuesday evening of this week and a most enjoyable time was spent.
