Miss Greta Foster has left Port Perry to take a position in Toronto. Mr. A .E. Rogerson has sold the Sebert House to Mr. Weir of Peter- boro. Mr. Rogerson retains his other property in town, and will remain here. Mr. Jas. McKee eaves on Thurs- day and sail from New York for Ire- land on Saturday on a new boat-- "The Regina" Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Clay, and her daughter, Mrs. R. Butson and child- ren, are leaving this week to visit Mrs. O. B. Roberts, at Forest, Ont. They are taking with them her little boy, who spent the winter in Port Perry. Rev. J. F. Everson, Prince Albert, was called away on Monday to a former charge, to attend the burial of the late Mrs. Neil Milsap, Moscow, Ontario. Mr. Kirley, of West Huntingdon, has moved to Mr. Frank McClintock's farm. Mr. McClintock has moved to Port Perry and is occupying part of the Gilbert house. e Mr. Wm. Clyde has sold the Price house to Mr. James McHoull. We are pleased to welcome Mr. and Mrs. McHoull back to our town. Mr.-Alex. Vance has sold his house to Mr. Ted. Jackson. Mrs."J. C. Dunlop has returned to Coldwater after a short visit with her sister Mrs. Geo. R. Davey. Mr. Harold Scott, of Toronto, spent the week end with Mr. Thos. Blight. ST. The boys' parents and others will have an opportunity to see the usual training activities and enjoy a real entertaining evening. The Troop Committee of 1st Port Perry Troop met last Friday evening. The Scoutmaster reported progress in the work and expressed his ap- preciation of the assistance of the following gentlemen, who have de- voted their time with him, in guiding the boys in their work; Mr. Alfred N. Andrus, Mr. W. J. Archibald, Mr. Jim Mowat and Mr, Harry Woodcock. An endeavor will be made to obtain more floor space in the Davis Block in order that the Troop may establish more or less permanent Head- quarters. Owing to School Examinations the weekly Troop Meeting will not be held until Thursday evening 29th. inst. At this meeting parts will be decided, upon for the Stout play which is one item on the entertain- ment program. All turn out, as early as possible. All members of the Troop will please be present at the regular Troop meeting on Tuesday evening, April 8rd. Patrols for the year will be organized and Patrol Leaders elected by ballot. The senior Patrol will be formed with the idea of train- ing for "Rovering"'--the latest de- velopment of the Boy Scout Move- ment. If you're not "too hig to run around with the kids" come along! 1st Whitby Troop have just sent word they will only be too glad to join us in camp on Lake Scugog this coming Summer. There is nothing definite from 1st Uxbridge, but they "are thinking about it." One thing certain, there will be a day "set apart" for father, mother and son.
