Dr. Fred Marlow, of Toronto, with his" wife and daughter Joan, have been visiting the Doctor's parents Mr, and Mrs. Jas. Marlow. There passed away on Wednesday, August 1st, an aged and highly re- spected citizen in the person of Mr, Quinn. The funeral service was con- ducted in the Union Church, on Fri- day afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Blackstock cemetery. Mrs. Lambe, of Manchester, with her three grandsons of Lindsay,spent last week with Mrs. T. Smith. The Anglican Picnic held at St. Christopher, on Wednesday last was well attended and much enjoyed by all.
