Tummonds and Mr. and Mrs, Horton, of Toronto, were in town over Sunday, and attended the Decoration Services at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Simmons, Miss Sim- mons, Miss Jackson and Mr. Lytle Johnston, of Fenelon Falls, motored to Port Perry, and spent Sunday with Mr, and Mrs. A. G. Smith. "Thé Misses Mary and Grace Stone held a birthday party last Saturday afternoon. Fourteen little girl friends took part in the pleasures provided, and enjoyed the birthday supper at a table prettily decorated with pink roses and ribbons. Mrs. E. 'H. Purdy has returned __home after spending a pleasant holi- day at Minden. Many wended their way to the re- ception held at the home of Mrs. J. A. Mathers, Queen St., Port Perry, on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 3oth. The home being tastefully decorated with peonies. Mrs. W. H. Harris introduced the guests, with Mrs. A. Carnegie in charge of the tea room, assisted by Mrs. I. R. Bentley and Miss Miriam Harris.
