H. Harris, to Council of the Town- ship of Cartwright: Pursuant to 'their direction he ap- plied to Mr. Montgomery, the Sec'y of 8S. S. No. 2, Cartwright, on July 17th, 1925, to examine 'the minutes and records of the Triistee "Board. Mr. Montgomery advised him that part of the records of 'the 'Trustee Board were with their Solicitor, Mr. Stinson, 'in Lindsay, and that Mr. Harris might examine them at Black- stock on Monday, July 20th, 1925, at '10 a.m., at Mr. Montgomery's office. J. BE. Harris attended at Mr. Mont- gomery's office and was 'told that Mr. VanCamp had taken the records away. J. E. Harris attended on Mr. Vancamp, who.said that Mr. Stinson had not-been able to return the re- cords but that they would be back on Wednesday, the 22nd of July, 1925. On July 21st, 1925, Messrs. Harris & Harris received a letter from Mr. Stinson stating that he held the papers of the Trustee Board and that Harris & Harris could 'see them at any time in case they desired to make an inspection of them at once. Wednesday mérnihg, the 22nd J. E. Harris called Mr, Stinson and said he would go 'to see the papers at once. Mr. Stinson said that he was going away at once and would not be back until Friday morning, the 24th, and that it would not be convenient for Mr. J, E. Harris to see the papers until then. On Friday, the 24th, the: Clerk, Mr. Beacock and Mr. J. E. Harris went to. Lindsay to see the Trustee Board papers. Mr, Beacock found that the records had been changed since he inspected them and 'made copies] thereof, particularly 'with reference to the record of the selection of the school site, the word "adjoining" in the origingl record being changed to ceptib Beacock also relic but is tain, that the resolution of the Mo and inserted. the. | esMinute Book | Board in 1922, had been' eS i Over Ee oll Port Perry tificate appioviie of the Debentures and By-law. unable to obtain a copy of the tificate or 01 ie material used dn ob- it "was noi in his possession.
