Operators Seek to Recover Losses Due to Strike § March 26--What is believed by the general public to be the first move of the anthracite operators to recover some of their losses caused by the six months' strike of 158,000 miners, is the announcement by the coal companies that the usual spring reduction on hard coal will not be put into effect this year.
