"for injury to plaintiff from defend- ant's negligence as .to a medical practitioner." _ Following the evidence today which was corroborative of the doctor's story the Judge dismissed the action. The trouble rose over a box of pills 'which plaintiff alleged he got from the doctor. nena pmbimes THE SAY SO! SOME OF THE FACTS The hip flask: Occasionally some- one makes a public statement that since the O. T. A, there is an increas- ing ef of young people using the hip flask. Wherever they have given the public a chance to test the state- ment, it has proven false, as in the instance of the visit of Mr. C. B. Booth, to Toronto, when he said that the flask-carrying habit among school boys was quite a problem. In answer to which the supervising Principal of Toronto said: "There is no evidence of the flask-carrying habit in and around Toronto High Schools," and the Principals at Hamilton warmly | 'esented the statement, and also de- clared it to be untrue. > The O. This picture 'ciful scenes and extraordinary effects, that are baffling in the impression 'they make, but are in no sense sug- gestive of mechanical trickery, since they harmonize so smoothly with the action of the story. Many of these effects required months of experi- mentation, and mark a distinct de- velopment in the motion picture pho- tography. A few things which will) 'puzzle you after you have seen "The 'thief of Bagdad' are: The Princess and the Thief flying over the house-tops on the Magic Carpet. The fighting spider that is about eight feet in height. "The ferocious dragon actually alive. The idol, larger than the Statue of Liberty. The flight of a Thousand Steps, leading into limitless space. The scenes on the fleor of the sea, all under water. The Cloak of invisibility. How the thief created armies out of nothing with the Magic Seed. The Creamery AT PORT PERRY is paying 36c. per Ib for butter fat.
