C. Taylor, on Wednesday, March 9th. Mrs. Christy, the presi- Next Sunday, March 20th, being the annual Thank-Offering Service, we have been very fortunate in secur- ing Mrs. (Rev) Tucker, from Africa, to speak at the morning service, This is the first time we have had the opportunity to hear a returned Mis- sionary from that foreign land. A massed choir of ladies are preparing special music, and all members of the Society are specially requested to occupy the front seats of the church. The Thank-Offering envelopes will be taken at this service, hoping 'that every person will respond as liberally as possible, so that we will be able to meet our allocation for this Dis- trict. Jeffrey emia) (Ypres. GOLDEN WEDDING A very pleasant occasion was en- joyed at Port Perry, on Monday, March 14th, when was celebrated the Goldep Wedding of Mr, and Mrs. W. J." Heénders. The bridesmaid and groomsman were present, also im- mediate relatives from Toronto, Ham- ilton, Burketon, Arthur and Nestle- ton. Congratulations were received from Toronto, Mount Forest, Yelver- ton, Winnipeg, Culross, Standard, Alta, and Rossland, B.C. After a sumptuous dinner and ad- dresses by many of the friends, a purse of gold was presented to the happy couple with hopes expressed that they would live to see many day and that the remaining year of life would be full of sunshine and gladness.
