Mr. and Mrs, Allan Goode had an enjoyable motor trip to the Muskoka Lakes, Gravenhurst and the northern lakes in that district. They visited the famous Bigwin Inn, and had a ride on the "Toonerville Trolley." Mount Albert Horticultural Society recently held a very successful flower show. Congratulations 40 Mr. F. C, Tag- gart, who recently won a $50 prize offered by the Municipal Bankers' Corporation in a bond selling contest. Mr. F. A. Kent is attending the Flower Show in New York. G. Monet, of To- ronto, were visiting in Uxbridge and Port Perry over the week end. Mr. Alex. Woods has returned to College at St. Catharines, Miss Wickett, of Toronto, guest of Miss Penhall. Mrs. Harry Hart and daughter, Beatrice, of Toronto, have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Miss Isabel Lucas took a most de- lightful motor trip through to Bob- caygeon and Fenelon Falls and those districts, making a total of about four hundred miles on the trip. Miss Dowsley, of Toronto, has been spending a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs, W. H. Harris. Mrs. Purdy and daughter Hélen, of ; Smith's Falls, were week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs, E. H. Purdy. Mr. Clifford Mark of Aoronto was in town last Sunday: Mrs. Ernie Coone, of Winnipeg, is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Beare. Mr. Gibb, of Toronto, has recently greatly improved his property here. He has painted and decorated His house and has erected a very credit- able garage. It is this kind of spirit that makes Port Perry one of the prettiset towns in the province. We are glad to see that Mr. Jas. Read has also painted and decorated his house and has put in electric lights. Borelia is looking up these days. Mr. James Mowat, of Toronto, is visiting his parents.
