Mr. and Mrs. Joblin attended the Evangelistic Band reunion at Bow- wanvilie, on Thursday afsernoon. Mr. ana Mrs. Joblin belonged to this Band many years ago. About thirty of them were present and had a gegular old time visit together. In the even- ing they attended the service after which they departed for their homes at St. Thomas, Toronto, and other places. A number of friends gathered to give Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Pearce a warm and noisy weleome at their home on Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. H. Fralick, Mr. and Mrs. C. Hardy, John and Clara; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. C. Samells, Edna and George, spent a pleasant evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Jackson, Port Perry, in honour of Mr. Jackson's birthday. The people of the Head School met at the tea room one evening last week and presented their teacher Miss Quantz with a French Ivory Electric Table Lamp and a photo frame, to show their appreciation of her ser- vices to their children for the last three years. Miss Niddery, who has taught at the foot school for the past three years has been engaged at the Head School. We wish her success. Mr. and Mrs. Beacock and Bobbie, Mr. G. Hood, Mr. P. Jeffrey, with Mr. and Mrs. J. Demera, on Sunday. Mr, and Mrs. C. Hardy, John, Clara, and Mr. Lawrence Clark, with Mr. and Mrs. D. Hope, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. Mr. and Mrs. Sintzel attended the funeral of Mrs. Sintzel's sister on Monday. Mrs, W. Dodsley, daughter Gladys, and Mr. Venning, motored to Orillia, on Sunday.
