BENNETT, Conservative Leader, Elected Conservatives Win 137 Seats and will take the reins of office at - Ottawa. W. H. MOORE Elected in Ontario Riding, with a Majority of 481 Political feeling hereabouts is somewhat mixed--both arties have reason for re- joicing and for disappoint- ment. Conservatives rejoice because their party has been returned to power; and they are disappointed because of the defeat of Dr. Kaiser in Ontario Riding. On the other hand, the Liberal pare was defeated, but W. H. Moore was elected in Ontario Rid- ing. Such are the fortunes of political war. Mr. Moore's admirers came through the Riding in a mon- ster procession, and met with an enthusiastic reception. The vote throughout the Riding was one of the largest ever polled. The urban centres were more in favour of Mr. Moore than the rural districts. ! Latest Summary of Election Results Conservatives Liberals United Farmers Progressive Liberal Progressive »...
