WEEK OF PRAYER The Week of Prayer Services under the auspices of the Anglican, Presby- terian and United Churches, is being held this week. The first service was in the Anglican Church, Wednesday evening, and there will be a service in the Presbyterian Church (to-night) Thursday and in the United Church on Friday evening. It was the occasion of the I. O. D., E. Annual Dance. The guests were welcomed by Mrs. W. H. Harris, Mrs. F. W. Brock, Mrs, J. Weir. "A very interesting program was ar- ranged, including Novelty, Tag, Leap Year and Lucky Number Dances. The prize winners of the Lucky Number Dance were Miss Dorothy Balfour and Mr. Harley Balfour. During the evening a dainty lunch was served in the gymnasium. As the gong struck twelve all sorts of novelty caps, whistles and horns were used to greet the New Year 1032 and with the usual joyful noise and happy songs, the couples danced away the old year--thus passed: another pleasant evening.
