Craig conducted the fun. | Count eral service, which was held on Friday, January 8th. Interment was at Pine Grove Contelery, OBITUARY WILLIAM H. CLARK The death of William H. Clark oec- curred very suddenly in Oshawa. Mr. Clark who, for the past two years has made his home with his daughter Mrs. R. J. Brown, of 61 Elgin Street, Osh- awa, was in apparently good health with the exception of a slight cold which he had for a few days and which neither he nor his family con- sidered at all serious. Early in the '| morning heart failure caused his death. The deceased was in his 76th year. 'Béfore coming to Oshawa two 'years ago, after the death of his wife, the late Mr. Clark resided in Port Perry where he was a tinsmith for many years, of late years working for W. L:. Parrish, hardware merchant, and Carnegie Bros. Mr, Clark was well known in Port Perry and a citizen highly respected. His hobby was bowling and he was one of the first members of the Port Perry Lawn Bowling Club. Lund, widow of the late Joseph Raines, Port Perry lost one of ita oldest residents. | be She was born in Port Perry, June 16th, 1848, and had lived in Port Perry and immediate vicinity practically all her, life, with the exception of some twelve 'years in Algoma. Many an interesting story she loved to tell, of the earlier days, when Port|® Perry was mostly bush. Since the death of her husband in 1927, she had made her home among her children, passing away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Thos. Carnochan, on December 80th, 1981. She was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church, The funeral was held from the home of Mrs. Carnochan, on January 1st, Rev, Mr. Annand conducting the service. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers. _She is survived by one daughter and three sons--Mrs. Thos.
