SEAGRAVE A very successful old time hot supper was held in the Sunday School room on Thursday evening last proved a success in spite of the weather. When all had done justice to the lovely sup- per served, a splendid concert by local talent, assisted by Mr. Allister Cam- eron, of Sonya, and Mr, Bert. Howlett of Pleasant Point, who pleased all with their delightful songs. Others taking part as follows: chorus by the choir, instrumentals by Marion Eagle- Frank Harding, readings by Mrs. Green, Marjorie Mitchell, duets by Misses Dorothy Reynolds and Fernie Moon, Misses Jean Harding and Alexa Stone, chorus by six girls, namely: Adel Wooldridge, Ruby McCoy, Jean Harding, Alexa Stone, Mary and Aileen Burnett; vocal solo by, Frank These numbers were en- joyed and appreciated. The chairman, Rev. Mr. Green, on behalf of the choir, moved a vote of thanks to all who had made the supper and concert a suc- cess. Proceeds amounted to about $22 which goes to help pay for choir books, The regular monthly meeting of the Quadrata Girls' Club was held at the home of Mrs. Mac McMillan, on Feb. 8rd with 13 members and several | visitors present. The meeting opened with a hymn followed by prayer by Mrs. B. Dowson.. Mrs. Frank Watson read the Scripture lesson and gave an interesting talk on the lesson. The minutes were read and approved. After the business session Miss Mar- jorie Mitchell favored with a 'reading which was enjoyed. The meeting closed with hymn and the benediction. After a lovely lunch served by the host and hostess, play practice took spent by all. Palmer. As they were being escorted down stairs Mrs. Palmer drew Mr. Palmer's' attention to strains of music which {sounded like a wedding march--*"Here Comes the Bride.
