School Fairs offer an opportunity for someone with: initiative. Boys' and Girls' Club] work offers plenty of scope. The different forms of Club work being carried on this year in the County are as follows: Swine Club work throughout the whole County. Grain Club work throughout the County. Potato Club Work in Uxbridge, Scott, and Reach Twps. Girls Home Garden and Canning in Pickering Twp. Boys' Home Garden Club in Thorah and Brock Twps. might be given and for purposes of illustration the last named project may be mentioned. This Boys' Home 20 being enrolled. It was felt that the boys further north should have the opportunity this year and as only 20 gardens are available this year it is felt that it should not be spread over too big a territory, the township of Thorah and Brock have therefore been chosen for this line of Boys' Club work this year. An opportunity is of- fered here for someone to get the Club organized and act as a leader through- out the season in keeping up the inter- est, getting all in the group out to one or two meetings during the season and encourage the Club members to exhibit at some central point probably Beaverton in early fall. There are other ways by which the two weeks Course in Leadership and Sociology can be won besides the ones mentioned. Young people through- out the County who may be interested should get in touch with Agricultural Representative W. M. Croskery, for further particulars.
