'Myrtle has now won one and lost one, - The game Thursday evening was very fast only six Scugog boys reaching first base during the game. Ted Heron was pitching for Myrtle and allowed no one to walk, and the Scugog team which is considered the heavy hitting team of the League, could not hit out of the infield. There was some snappy plays by both teams, and they were well applauded by the large crowd who were in attendance. Ken. Stuttaford acted as Umpire for Myrtle. The next game will be played at Port Perry on Friday evening of this week, and then the Myrtle boys entertain the Manchgster team at Myrtle on Monday evening, June 13. Come out and cheer the hoys on.
