Myrtle Station On July 1st, our Softball team went to Blackstock and played the team of that town a league game, Myrtle winning by a score of 15 to 22, The next game was at Raglan on July 4th, and then they go to Scugog on July Oth. If Myrtle can win these two games they will be on top of the league. The score at Raglan was 18- 7 in favour of Myrtle. The Myrtle team has entered the tournament which will be Played here on July 7. The many friends of Miss Pearl Vance, who is leaving our community, assembled at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. S. held their thirty-third anniversary of the society in the hall on the 29th of June. The hall was tastefully decorated for the occasion and a good number of old members | were present.
