Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hudgins of To- ronto, visited the former's mother, Mrs. Hattie Hudgins, on Sunday. Messrs. Bradley and Booth have been busy during the week threshing buckwheat for the farmers. Mr. T. Hall, tax collector, of Brook- lin, was on his annual rounds deliver- ing tax slips last week. A number trom here attended the hot fowl supper and concert at Sea- grave on Tuesday evening. All re- port an enjoyable evening. The Women's Association met at the home of Mrs. Stuart Hall, on Tuesday with a large attendance. The meeting opened with a hymn and prayer, followed by the Scripture Farland. The minutes of last meet- ing were read and adopted, followed by the roll call. Further arrange- ments were made for the annual fowl supper. Sunday services are being held on November 6th at 11 a.m. and 7 pm, and a hot fowl supper and play on Friday evening, Nov. 11th. A reading was given by Miss R. Wooldridge, a piano solo by Miss V. Hall. The meeting closed with a hymn and the benediction, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Hall and fam- ily visited with her mother Mrs. Henderson, of Little Britain, on Sun- day. The Sunday School was well attend- ed on Sunday morning. We are pleased to see so many of the older folk present, as well as the children.
