Mrs. Greenbank, of Norwood, is spending a few days with her daughter, Miss Greenbank, this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allin, Mr. Davey, of Cleveland, Ohio, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Murell Goode, sang two very beauti- ful solos, at the United Church last Sunday morning. 4 LEADERSHIP TRAINING CLASS At a meeting of the Executive of the Port Perry, Reach and Scugog Sunday School Association, it was de- cided to hold a Training Class for Teachers and Leaders at Port Perry, on the Thursday and Friday of the second week of January, and Wednes- day, Thursday and Friday of the fol- lowing week. Further particulars later, Port Perry United Sunday School Christmas Tree Concert will be held Wednesday evening, December 21st. DIED On Sunday, November 20th, at the residence of her son, James Mowat, 139 Beresford Ave., Josephine Abbott, widow of the late Charles Mowat, in her 76th year. NORMAN STUART, 68, DIES IN HOME , (South Bend, Tribune) Mrs. Norman Stuart, age 68, of 1145 Belmont Avenue, died at 11 o'clock today in her residence after 10 days of illness. She leaves her husband; seven daughters, Mrs. Harry Ort, Mrs. Henry Ort, and Mrs. Rome Stephenson, of this city; Miss Mar- garet Stuart, of Ambala City, India; Mrs. M. R. MacConnell and Mrs. E. A. Walker, of New York City; and Mrs. Earl Naramore, of Middletown, Conn., and one son, Allan Stuart, of Los An- geles, Calif. , Mrs. Stuart was born in the Pro- vince of Ontario, Canada, July 8th, 1864, and came here five years ago from Port Perry, Ont. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart celebrated their golden wed- ding 'anniversary in September, 1981. The body was taken to the A. M. Russell mortuary. It is a unique and valuable experience for these children to visit the County Town and to meet and compete with others from every Township in the County and a very interesting two hours is promised not only to Coun- cillors but to many of the parents and teachers and others who are especially interested in the work of the children.
