Yesterday, the 'Secret Energy Police' ticketed all areas in the school where lights were left on unnecessarily: Today is compost- ing day. Any student composting food scraps which dén't contain meat or dairy products has a chance to win a pizza. Garbage Reduction Day is Wednesday and"all styrofoam has been. banned. Teachers and stu- dents are encouraged to lug-a- mug and choose china plates. Thursday is Paper Reduction Day. The teachers 'are encouraged to limit their hand-outs of photo- «copies. Any student who eats a garbage- -less lunch on Friday may wirra pizza for, their efforts. The daily events will motivate all of us to develop habits more friendly to our environment.
