This was gn introduction for new leaders of ceremonies, uni- Apple Day was again a huge success by all accounts of the groups in the district. A group committee training course, was put on by the District Council to explain the duties of group committee positions and their importance to a section on Oct. 24 at the Kinsmen Hall On Oct. 26 the Cubs from the cight Cub packs who had been chosen as a sixer or seconder had the opportunity to attend a Sixer or Seconder Pow Wow in Cannington. This was a day of training for the boys as well as a fun day for them and their leaders. Approximately 40 boys attended this event by the District Cub Service Team. The team attended a weekend Trainer's Workshop on Nov. 1.
