Ashica Jones was Sth in flight in the Pre-preliminary A ladies, and Enn Buchanan won sitver in flight In Pre-preliminary B ladies Kim Lachapelle was 6th in final and silver in flight Julie Obstifeld was 8th in flight in pre-juvenile A, and Jennifer Berry silver in flight and 6th in final in pre-juvenile B. Jennifer Berry and Timothy Fowler were silver medal win- ners in the pre-novice mixed dance, and Jennifer was 8th in pre-bronze artistic merit. Kim L and Tamara Battle for last place in Mens Hockey League Van and Truck World came up with a victory in Scugog Mens Hockey League action Sunday moming as they dumped Nortons by a 6-4 mamgin The win gave Van and Truck 15 points for the season, just one back of Nortons as these two teams battle 10 see who will stay out of last place. Tony Oxley and Dale Bronson both nailed down a pair of goals for Van and Truck with Brian Samis and Tim Cullen adding sin gles. Larry Pilkey helped with four assists, Wayne Fox and Larry Jackson had two each with Mike Driscoll and Kevin Reid getting single assists. Ken Davison had a pair for Nortons with Al Bonner and Brad Hurst getting a goal and assist cach. Randy Prosser had two assists with Dave Roth getting onc. In the opening game of the day. J and D Carpentry and Sportsland played to a 5-5 ue Fred Moffatt had the hat trick for J and D, and Todd Wilbur had a five point outing with a goal and four assists. Brian Cowie came up with a goal and assist with other assists to Gary Lance with two, Mark Burger and Dave Milton one cach. For Sportsland, Bill Bridge had two goals and two assists for a leaguc-leading 56 points. Tom Patton had a goal and two set-ups and singles went to Mike McQuade and Dave Bourgeois Ken Little and Brian Callery had two assists with one from Scou Davis. Darcy Milligan had a five point game with a goal and four assists, with Glen Hudson getung a pair of markers and singles 10 Rick Sheehey. Ron Zaparanuik and Lee Steeves each had a goal and assist. Richie Lefort from Rob Kroonenberg and Donovan Smith, and then Ken Jeffrey from John Kortaba and Chris Brain did the scoring for Crandells who are tied with J and D for third with 22 points. The final game of the of the morning was also the closest as first place Fitzgeralds edged Compton Cable by a 3-1 count. Doug Bronson and Henry Forderer had a goal and assist with Ken Smart rounding out the scoring for the winners. Bruce Smith added two assists with one each to Jody Peters and Mike Pehlemann.
