Mike Maclennan made some fine stops in the cage but Notre Dame came out on top by a 4-0 margin. Kam Cooper was named MVP for the final game and all players received souvenier but- tons. In game one, the Wreckers defeated Bancroft Jets 3-0 with Maclennan getting the shut-out. Blaine Kinnunen, Jon Sanders and Wade Ritchie did the scoring with assists to Keith Hancock (2) Sanders, Ken Ellis, and Kinnunen. Ellis was named MVP. In the second game against Peterborough St. Andrews, the Wreckers turned in a fine perfor- mance for a 2-1 victory. Paul Brain from Ritchie and Ellis and Nick Ostafichuk from Alex Upton and Steve Nagy did the scoring. The Doormen began to tire a bit in the final and Bowmanville tied the game with 1:22 left. Port yanked the goalie for an extra attacker to no avail. It was a good game with fine netminding from Paul Shrigley and the team missed three guys not able to make the game. IGA JUNIORS Port Perry IGA Juniors have two wins and a loss in playoff action with Ajax as the team won game four recently. The first game will be re-scheduled. Ajax opened the scoring three minutes into the match, but Port's Lindsay Patton tied things up on a pass from Sarah Coyne. After Ajax once more went up one goal,' Lindsay passed off to Kyla McCrae who in turn passed to Sarah for the second goal. Port out-played AjaX*in the sec- ond despite several penalties and 'Deanna Dempsey made it 3-2 from Heather Lally and Lisa Dodd. Once again Ajax tied the game but Kyla from Lindsay made it 4-3 and Port was ahead for good. Jenna Norton and Vicki Stainton picked off a lot of passes and helped keep the ring in the Ajax zone. The game ended 6-3 in Port's favour with other goals coming from Sarah and Deanna with help from Jenna and Sarah. The girls will be in action this week for their third toumament of the season in Jordan. Game five of the playoffs is slated for March 7 against Pickering at the Scugog Arena.
