Port Perry has a nice reputation, we don't want 10 be known as a flea market town, like Swuffville, than a little snobbish. Not every- one can afford to shop for the very special items that are in the very special shops in our very special town Indeed, we do have a very beautiful and unique town, but this proposed fica market would not detract from this beauty as it is far away from the downtown area. Are the people who might shop at the flea market not welcome in the restaurants along Water Street? Are their manners and dress less than perfect? Is their money the wrong colour? Entreprencurs welcome, but the merchants will choose who is 10 compete. In the meantime, Port Perry residents, Scugog residents, will continue 10 search out bargains in Stouffville and Pickering, or wherever they can. Andrea. Jones, Scugog Township. Thank-you!
